Youth Innovation Center (Formerly Centrol De Desenvolvimento para jovens em Mozambique- (CDJM)

started as a community club in central Mozambique that formed the basis for coordinating friendly soccer matches and cultural dances in Nhaurir area. The current political tensions prevailing in Mozambique has led to then CDJM to formalise and fill the gap that existed between the current youth’s preoccupation in the prevailing political environment and the need for creative and productive youth mind sets that focus their energies on sustainable development.

The Mozambique youths instead being used in up scaling political tensions have the opportunity to utilise rich cultural and natural resource endowments to build a peaceful and prosperous Mozambique.
We have seen this route as the most ideal to uplift the nation of Mozambique and build a vibrant society that is inclusive and open.

Youth Innovation Center is a youth based non-governmental organization that is aimed at is aimed at promoting youth aspirations in Peacebuilding, Climate Change and SRHRs through arts, sports and culture in Mozambique’s three provinces of Cabo del Gado, Manica and Sofala.
